Not long after Bloomberg published a report that CD Projekt Red will be moving into a mandatory crunch period leading up to the November release of the highly anticipated video game Cyberpunk 2077, Keanu Reeves has returned for another promo which demands that players seize the day.
“In 2077, what makes someone a criminal?” Reeves asks as the lo-fi beats of Billie Elish’s “Bad Guy” plays in the background. Then, after a flashy montage of futuristic cars, weaponry, and an intense stealth sequence, the John Wick actor answers, “Getting caught.” He then continues to tease many of the features of the upcoming action role-playing game by informing players that “In Night City you can become anyone … anything. If your body can pay the price.” Finally, Reeves has one more directive for his audience: “Seize the day. Then set it on fire.”
